When the people fear their government there is tyranny; when the government fears the people there is liberty.
Thomas Jefferson
It is apparent that the government is unafraid of a passive and/or deluded electorate. As living proof I offer the Internet. Listen to, read, or watch the mainstream media and you will hear glowing reports of an improving economy, lower unemployment rates, a benevolent force of immigrating Muslims and a plan for Peace In Our Time. If you swallow that propaganda you are wasting your time reading this. Go elsewhere, find a hole in the sand and plant your head, well away from the light of day, the truth, and free men. If you seek the truth, you will find it on the Internet in one of those enclaves where conservatives gather to discuss the latest atrocity that our leaders are forcing upon us. You will also find something else there: Fear.
I am firmly convinced that the Internet conservatives are some of the best informed and prepared people in America. They also well illustrate what Jefferson said about who fears whom. My conservative friends and associates may, in moments of macho arrogance, deny that they are afraid of anything. What they post on the web says otherwise.
Lest the use of the word offend some of my stalwart friends and readers, let me add my slant on "Fear:" A brave man is one who feels fear in time of danger but goes on with the mission at hand, doing what must be done in spite of the risk. A fearless man is a danger both to himself and those around him, for to be without fear when surrounded by those who have the power to do you harm is not only foolhearty, it is another form of insanity.
We all grew up in a nation that led the world and enjoyed a security that many of the world's people lacked. We saw struggles and oppression in foreign lands but were convinced that it could never happen here. In spite of the MSM's propaganda machine, it is happening here, and the innocents of America are unsure how to deal with it.
The people of foreign nations never had the luxury that we have long enjoyed. When they faced danger they knew they must react quickly, and with resolve, or perish. Americans feeling remote from most dangers have developed patience and a faith that if something is wrong it can be changed with the next election. That was the attitude that so many had in 2010, and the ballot box failed them. They won the election with a landslide, but it accomplished nothing. Obama still reigns, with a heavier hand than ever.
In past essays when speaking of the newest batch of political leaders sent to the Nation's Capitol I have commented that they have sold us out, after all they have failed to stop the onslaught of Marxism. I fear that I have done them an injustice. They have not sold us out; some perhaps have, but not all. They are simply facing the same obstacle that the American people are: Old American ways, and changing times. The electorate of this nation, unused to dealing with dictators, are looking toward yet another election, hoping, like they hoped in 2010, that this time things will change. It will be to no avail.
The men and women we sent to right the wrongs are living in the same anachronistic vision that their electors are. The fact of the matter is that the old ways just will not work against a dictator. We could vote out an incompetent like Jimmy Carter. We cannot vote out a dictator who has a following of all the dead people in the nation's cemeteries, all of our illegal immigrants, and a wire tap on our voting machines. Our newly elected Congressmen and Congresswomen, by the same token, cannot call upon the Constitution to prevent an Unconstitutional act. Obama openly laughs at the "flawed" Constitution.
Mobster wisdom tells us never to bring a knife to a gun fight. But what does political wisdom say about bringing a gun to a knife fight?
"If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun."
Barrack Obama

This is what our newly elected representatives are facing. They are armed only with law books and the Constitution. Hardly a match for the tactics employed by the Obama thugsters who sign bills at 3:00 A.M., refuse to obey the law, openly discriminate in favor of groups like the New Black Panthers, illegal aliens, and Islam, and appoint their own judges to enforce the Obama version of law and order. And when all else fails Obama signs a new Executive Order, or has the EPA launch another attack on America. No junior congressman has a chance against the well fortified Democratic Party hierarchy. I hate to say anything good about Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, but I must give them this...They did their work well; not for the American public, but for the cause of Progressivism. Saul Alinsky would be very proud.
And what does the near future hold in store for us?
April 9-15 100,000 "Non-Violent" protesters will begin training for their role in coming events. This training seminar is brought to you by none other that the UAW, UEW, Move On.Org, SEIU, Green Peace, USW, The American Federation of Teachers, The Progressive Democrats of America, and many, many more. Just to let you know that he hasn't forgotten you, Van Jones and his comrades from Rebuild The Dream are on the list as well.
Now, you might ask, what are they training for? May Day and other days to follow. You may ask also why May Day? May Day has a long history with Marxism. Normally I encode a link within one or more words. This is a link you should see in its entirety. Note the link www.marxists.org http://www.marxists.org/subject/mayday/articles/tracht.html
This link goes on to detail the great things that Marxism has done for the labor movement and America. And here is yet more about the significance of May Day(Russian)... An excerpt from the following link:
"It has been a May Day to which the Russian Revolution has brought a message that the long and terrible night is over, that the undivided sway of the Imperialist nightmare is at an end, and that the class-conscious proletariat is again beginning to raise its head."

Let there be no doubt, 2012 is the year they plan to take total control and give us a Marxist utopia. They are operating from one of two standpoints: This "Non-Violent" group will stir up so much violence that Obama will be able to declare marital law and there will be no election this year, or if an election does come about it will be a sham. Totalitarian governments around the world have elections to appease the hopeful and the winner is well known in advance. One thing that bothers me is that so many Americans knew without a doubt that the Muslim Brotherhood was going to take control of Egypt. These same Americans just cannot see that 2012 is but a carrot dangled before us that gives the rulers yet more time to solidify their power base among the young, the gullible and the illegals migrating across our open borders.
This is an interesting OWS link. It will download a full sized image of their new May Day sign. It also has a questionnaire for you to fill out for further info and involvement and just a tiny little message at the bottom in red... "Spring is coming." Recently a friend asked me if OWS accomplished anything. I answered "Yes." Last Fall and early Winter was but a trial balloon to test their effectiveness. I assured her that they would be back with a vengeance in the Spring.
Barrack Obama has now become the biggest welfare and food stamp administrator in history and, should there be an election, he is relying on the old adage... "Don't bite the hand that feeds you."
