There are many great paintings from our Revolutionary times of George Washington, in his glory, his wisdom, and his leadership. My favorite painting of this nations's greatest founder portrays him at his weakest, deeply troubled, and probably in his moment of greatest self doubt. It shows a man, desperate and alone, verging on failure, and out of answers. In it we see a warrior, kneeling in the snow, perhaps hungry, alone with none but his horse, his sword, his faith, and his God. He is praying, asking not that God smite his enemies for him. In his humility he seeks only strength and guidance, that he himself may do what must be done. Americans could learn so much from this image, born of the stark media of canvas and oil, for the painting depicts a great man in his greatest hour of need, and it is out of the merging of need, courage, determination, and faith, that we find true greatness.
My writings have troubled some, offended others, and given yet more of our citizens reason to deny those unpleasant issues that reality provides and I document. To those offended, and to they who embrace denial, I offer nothing but my contempt, for America needs not the weak nor the craven. To those who feel troubled as they acknowledge the scope of the danger we face I offer but three words. They are the same three words offered by Washington as he returned from his lonely vigil in the frozen wilderness and prepared for battle. He walked among men who were cold, weary, hungry, and poorly clothed, but not poor in spirit. As he strode before their ranks he imparted to each warrior a sense of the urgency they faced, and he gave them the message he had brought back from his sojourn with God. That message became the hinge pin upon which rested the future of America. The message was "Victory or Death".
I am totally convinced that once again we stand at Valley Forge, and each of us, alone in the snow, must come to grips with what lies before us, and either confront the future as free men with a battle cry of "Victory or Death" or turn away from the strife leaving a world of despair to our offspring.
I look unto a world where I wish I could say that our leaders lead not, but that is not the case. They do lead, but they lead not where we must go. Instead they have forsaken our very principles, abandoned our goals, trodden upon our dreams, and they have turned from our God, and yet in the light of their known betrayals they remain in power. They still lead the unknowing, and they lead unto the very gates of Hell. They. as traitors, look upon us, the patriots of America, as no more than sacrificial offerings to those who would do this nation harm.
Many speak of a New World Order, and those who foster it reign above us. These lesser gods look down from their haughty towers of alabaster and gold, and in their eyes we are but "the masses". There is nothing new about their new world and in it there can exist no order, as in their quest for unbridled power, they are doing no more than resurrecting the day and dominion of kings. Their quest for power allows no dignity, nor even the smallest of triumphs for those whom they see as no more than mere vassals and votes.
They, in their self appointed glory, dictate that all others stand only in their shadows.
I stand not in the shadow of any man. I deny their right to rule me unencumbered by the laws that once made men free. Freedom was conceived in the meadows of Runnymede and born in the hallowed halls of Philadelphia. If freedom must die then let the dying begin with me, for it will be with my last breath that I oppose any and all who would destroy what so many hold dear.
These, the new kings of modern times, are my enemies, and unchecked they will be the scourge of generations to come. Before them I shall not falter, nor will I yield. I shall stand as one, or if my words find favor among fellow warriors then we shall stand as many, and though when day's work is done, and our numbers are diminished, we shall stand as victors, for if victory be not our lot, then we and our young, most assuredly will be counted as slaves.
Riding abreast these self crowned monarchs of a new world order are the minions of an old world terror. Bearing sword and the vile words of their false god they advance among the peoples of the Earth showing mercy to none and demanding homage from all. "Alahu Akbar" is the chant of this Horde from Hell. They come forth seeking tolerance while granting none. They demand freedom of spirit, while allowing none. They spew a hatred of life, espousing only their love of death, and I can only pray that among our patriots these bloodthirsty tribesmen find what they love, and that their journey to our shores was well taken.
Islam spreads across the nations of the world as does a disease spread among a populace. The similarities of its encroaching sickness, its ever worsening effects, and it ultimate outcome is reminiscent of a deadly pathogen entering a healthy body. The greatest difference between the pathogen and Islam is the method of dispersal. A disease must find its way to a healthy host by whatever means nature allows. The plague that is Islam is directed and nurtured by our heads of state and their associates. Those leaders, in their roles as the progenitors of decline, pass laws, edits, and executive orders that prohibit any means of defense against the malady they sow among us.
Never in the history of the world have so many holding the reins of power been intent upon destroying their own nations and aiding in the downfall of their own people. It appears to be nothing less than a collective global insanity. If unopposed or unstopped, the ultimate outcome will prove to be no less that a new age of darkness descending upon the entire planet.
There are many who choose to turn from the truth before them and wallow in a self proclaimed blindness to reality. There are also many who perceive the encroaching threat and ask "But what can we do without unity and leadership?" To them I answer this ... Unify! Unify and find new leaders. Accept not your role as a peasant among kings. Turn from the path they have chosen for you. Veer from the course they have prescribed, and walk not the road to serfdom.
Never forget that we were born a free people. Swear by all you hold dear that unborn generations will taste the same freedoms we have had. Stray not from the vision of the Founding Fathers and bear allegiance to those three words George Washington brought from the wilderness:
"VICTORY OR DEATH!"

Wow, Danny, you have outdone yourself. This piece is moving, poignant, and oh so true.
I love the juxtaposition between now when our enemies are both inside and outside the gates and George Washington, plagued by turmoil and self doubt, searching for the answers and the words that would keep his army and his country together.
"Victory or death!" the father of our country would say. We need him now more than ever: his presence, leadership, his ability to drive men beyond their limits when the sunshine of hope were buried in the clouds of despair.
Danny, nothing's more inspiring than George Washington. If you can't get excited about him you're probably a liberal, progressive.
I'm with you, Danny, "Victory or Death!"
