END OF THE INNOCENCE

I have concluded that no amount of proof, no amount of evidence, and no amount of indisputable facts can possibly change a persons mind who is in denial and unwilling to face reality. That person will quite simply turn away and go on with his or her efforts to "Wake people up". 

I know that I am fighting a losing battle but I am doing my level best to stir some awareness into those who think they are awake, when in fact so many have chosen to keep their head well implanted into a comfortable hole in the sand, remaining oblivious to facts that do not fit into their vision of how future events will transpire. The one reward for my efforts is I have good company. There are many grand warriors in the fight for liberty but none that can equal David Horowitz. I truly hope that you will click this link and watch a brief video of his efforts but as many do not follow links I shall post a few quotes from it.

Speaking to Glenn Beck, David Horowitz said "First let me say that I have been waiting for just conservatives to wake up for twenty years. (unintelligible) refer to these people as liberals. There's nothing liberal about these people except their attitude toward drugs, hard drugs, and sex. That's what they're liberal about; everything else they want to control your life. They're intolerant, bigoted and they will try to destroy you as you are finding out."
"The big secret of the left is it claims to be the champion of poor people, minorities, women, children, when in fact it is the oppressor of minorities, women, children."
"When you are a radical what you are thinking of is power. It's about power. You adopt this position, take up that issue, but it is all to advance the power. They want to know what they can get away with. to advance this big(unintelligible) which is to get power and change everything."
Younger ears than mine may clearly discern the two words I could not distinguish. If anyone watching the video can for certain identify the two words I have labeled as (unintelligible) please let me know that I may update this. 

I don't believe that even the sleepiest conservative would dispute anything in the above quotes, but there is much more. Horowitz founded Discover The Networks and if you really want to learn what is happening to America, there is no better single source of information on the topic anywhere.

My regular readers know by now my feelings about Mitt Romney. Now many are shocked when I express those feelings, conveniently forgetting they had the same feelings before the primaries. Not one person in my circle of internet friends wanted him to be President. They were angered at the arrogance of the RNC in putting a RINO before us as their golden boy. Golden boys have a lot in common with golden calves. They both manage to find followers when fear is rampant. This was a man who was the governor of the most liberal state in the union and now the frightened look to him as the Messiah that will save America and get us off of the liberal road to oblivion. There are some who still do not care for Romney but see Paul Ryan as our salvation. That too, raises questions.

Grover Norquist

I like to think that not much gets past me without my noticing that something is amiss. I must admit that I blew it on one occasion. I was totally surprised when Romney chose Ryan as his running mate. I should have expected it. The evidence was right before me, in the words of the biggest string puller in Washington D.C., Grover Norquist. I don't believe that Romney chose Ryan. It would appear that Ryan was chosen for him, just as Romney was chosen for us.

This is a direct quote from Norquist, the one where I failed to make the Paul Ryan connection before he became the Vice Presidential Candidate.
 "All we have to do is replace Obama ... We are not auditioning for fearless leader. We don't need a President to tell us what direction to go. We know what direction to go. We want the Ryan budget ... We just need a President to sign this stuff. We don't need someone to think it up or design it. The leadership now for the modern conservative movement for the next 20 years will be coming out of the House and the Senate."

If you have any doubts about the authenticity of the above click this link. My apologies as it is on MSNBC, a group I try to avoid. It used to be readily available as a stand alone You Tube videos but they have all been scrubbed ... Yes the Republicans do that too.

Notice that not one time did he mention anything about what the American people want. "We" is a group that I fear and "the modern conservative" movement has nothing to do with the old conservative movement of which we are a part. We have been expelled and our views are no longer welcome in the neo-conservative group known as the GOP.

I hope that when you finish reading this essay you will click the Grover Norquist link that will lead to his background exposed by David Horowitz. He has artfully managed to stay out of jail while rising to the status of one of the most powerful men in the nation. Here are a few things you will learn there.

Long time conservative activist. (This sounds good. He can trace his ascendancy back to the Reagan days)
Founder of "Americans for Tax Reform". (Sounds like a plan, but it got off track and turned into "The Pledge", a form of subservience to none other than Grover Norquist)
Founder of the Islamic Free Market Institute. (When loyalties start to change)
Beginning in 1998, he established affiliations with radical Islamists and helped them gain access to President George W. Bush.

Grover Norquist is also a member of the infamous Council On Foreign Relations. Notice that in the network map below there is a line from the center leading downward to the very base of the CFR, to our friend and associate George Soros.

He sounds like a well rounded member of the traitor class. Let's add another: Karl Rove. As a rule I do not like to post the same information twice and this was previously posted in Conservatives On The Brink Of Extinction. This is an exception as it is worthy of being repeated. Canada Free Press posted the following:

Excerpt..."Hence calling Obama a socialist or left winger is out of order. That means: 
No talk of Obama's mentor, Frank Marshall Davis.
No talk of his backing from the Communist Party U.S.A. Democratic Socialists or other such groups.
No talk of his extremely close personal relations with such figures as Hugo Chavez of Venezuela and the rulers of Russia.
No talk of how Obama couldn't pass a basic background check in order to get a low level federal job."

Earlier I mention "The Pledge", initiated by Grover Norquist and signed by ninety five percent of the Republican Party. It calls for all signers to refuse to initiate any new taxes, and it is a farce. It is a document that if you have any aspirations of rising in the GOP you will sign. I say that it is a farce for the simple reason that high taxes or low taxes, or for that matter, no taxes, still lead to poverty and collapse as long as the Federal Reserve is in control of our economy and able to flood the entire world with inflationary dollars. As proof of this statement: A large portion of our society pays no taxes at all, and yet every day their money is worth less. Signing The Pledge does no more than grant control of your elected leaders' actions to Grover Norquist, and Mitt Romney has signed it twice.

Well, I have put some unpleasant facts before you, with links to still more if you care to pursue the matter. I honestly believe that few will. It is so much more comfortable telling liberals that the Democratic Party and Obama are leading to the ruin of America. It is difficult to acknowledge the fact that the bulk of the Republican Party has also taken a sharp left turn in the effort to retain power and a life of deception and luxury, and left you behind. One final bit of evidence is the fact that the Republican controlled House of Representatives control the purse strings of America. They have the power to defund any and all of Obama's assaults on our liberty ... if they choose. They choose not, for they are in it up to their Progressive necks!

You may choose to doubt my opinions, but if you disregard the facts that I have put before you then you have wasted your time reading this, and I have wasted mine in trying to enlighten those who know not. In the final stages of Atlas Shrugging do not say you were not warned. Do not say that you didn't know, or hide behind a false claim of innocence for this is the end of the innocence, and you may as well get used to addressing people as "Comrade".
