|Margaret Thatcher: "The Iron Lady"|
Obama's most recent assault on America's dignity took the form of once again offending the UK, and sadly most of our citizens didn't even notice. With each passing day my opinion of a large segment of our population degrades, but as my respect for so many of my fellow American weakens, my resolve to oppose their complacency and ignorance grows ever stronger.
After his first inauguration in 2009 one of Hussein Obama's first official acts was to order someone in the White House staff to pack up the bust of Sir Winston Churchill and send it back to England as it was not welcome in the Obamanation. Such a slap in the face for a nation that could perhaps be best described as our strongest ally, and that slap was but the first of many.
Anyone with an IQ even slightly higher than that of a rock and willing to admit the truth, are quite aware that Obama suffers from Narcissism. Therefore, it came as no surprise when we learned that he had given an iPod to Queen Elizabeth containing some of his speeches and his inauguration. As if that is not klutzy enough for this corrupt bureaucrat from Chicago he also, due to his ignorance, presented Prime Minister Gordon Brown with a collection of American DVDs, that are formatted differently than are the British and so will not play in England, and even if they would play, the Prime Minister is legally blind and unable to watch them.
I just love dry, sardonic, British humor, especially when it is delivered with a heaping dose of politeness. The Queen echoed Obama's self serving gesture by presenting him a signed photo of the Royal couple. Is that, or is that not, a polite royal way of saying "Up yours!"?
On the more serious and dangerous side of Obama's treasonous activities...

WikiLeaks cables: U.S. agrees to tell Russia Britain's nuclear secrets
"The fact that the Americans used British nuclear secrets as a bargaining chip also sheds new light on the so-called “special relationship”, which is shown often to be a one-sided affair by US diplomatic communications obtained by the WikiLeaks website"
It has often been said that politics makes strange bedfellows but I am not certain that this would apply in the case of Hussein Obama and Hugo Chavez as they had so much in common. Certainly there was a mutual respect due to shared political views, and Obama spared no effort in paying tribute to a fellow communist dictator at his funeral.
This from The Washington Times...
Obama sending official delegation to Chavez funeral
"The Obama administration has dispatched an official delegation to Caracas to attend Friday’s funeral for deceased Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.
In addition to James Derham, who presently serves as Charge d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in the Venezuelan capital, the State Department said Thursday that the delegation to the socialist revolutionary’s funeral will include U.S. Rep. Gregory Meeks, New York Democrat, and former U.S. Rep. William Delahunt, Massachusetts Democrat."
And then we have yet another slap; perhaps the most vicious of all.
This from Mail Online UK:
Obama's snub to Thatcher: President wont send envoy to funeral and leaves it to her old allies from the Reagan era
"Friends and allies of Baroness Thatcher expressed 'surprise and disappointment' last night as it emerged President Obama is not planning to send any serving member of his administration to her funeral.
Whitehall sources have revealed that the US delegation at tomorrow's service in St Paul's Cathedral will be led by two Reagan era secretaries of state: James Baker and George Shultz."
Also from the same article:
"The Queen's decision to attend Lady Thatcher's funeral has effectively elevated it to a state occasion unprecedented for a political figure in Britain since the death of Sir Winston Churchill in 1965."
Think of that for a moment. Not one political figure in England in forty eight years has been so honored as Lady Margaret Thatcher, and I do not believe that in the long history of the U.S. and English alliance has one been so dishonored by America.
Most of my readers are old enough that they recall the days of Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher working together to make this a better world. Do you recall the Lee Greenwood song that was so popular then, "God Bless America"? Do you also recall the line "I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free"? Can you say that today in light of Obama's actions?
Margaret Thatcher loved America as did Sir Winston Churchill, and when he died he paid us a very special salute. In his will Mister Churchill stated that he wanted the song "Battle Hymn of the Republic" played at his funeral, and so it was.
The Declaration of Independence gave us a purpose; the Revolutionary War gave us freedom; The Constitution gave us direction; and it was the Civil War that gave us unity; but it was the song "Battle Hymn of the Republic" that told us that yes, freedom is worth dying for. Now that freedom is being incrementally stripped from us, one executive order at time, and those who have honored us are being scorned as undeserving of any respect from the followers of Karl Marx.
My friends, fellow Americans, and loyal readers, mark this event, for it, like Pearl Harbor, will live in infamy. Margaret Thatcher's funeral will one day prove to be a turning point in the history of what was once a great nation. The turning point I speak of is that Obama has now grown so confident of his power over us that he can show utter contempt and a blatant disrespect for the values and the people that patriotic Americans cherish. Lady Thatcher was born in a far off land and yet she was a far greater American patriot than the man currently in the White House. She died in honor while he lives in shame.
This nation has long been under attack from the forces of Progressivism and we enjoyed a brief respite while Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher fought for liberty. Now the final member of that duo has left us, and this nation, its elected leader, and the people who granted him power, have brought a great dishonor to our shores.
The Baroness Margaret Thatcher is now but a memory, and we are a poorer people for England's loss.
