Once again I enter treacherous waters as I broach a subject that many will flatly denounce while others will simply refuse to consider the evidence that I put before them. Fortunately, I do not enter those waters alone, for Glenn Beck has also sounded the warning. My efforts in this cause was to collect a mountain of irrefutable evidence that many in the religious left have embraced the concept of social justice, government control, and international laws in their quest for peace and prosperity on earth and salvation in an afterlife. Before I begin my narrative please take a few minutes to read the thoughts of Glenn Beck.
Glenn Beck: Liberation Theology and Social Justice.
It was in the sixties when the flower children took center stage, smoking weed, burning draft cards, seeking peace at any cost, and among them arose a savior ... Jesus Christ Superstar. Actually he was more a tool of their beliefs than savior, as they projected their political and moral views onto the teaching of the man from Nazareth. Now those flower children have aged, some have entered politics, and the hierarchy of our churches, and from their positions of power they dictate their agenda to the people of America and do so claiming to speak on behalf of all that is moral.
People, groups, and nations, have long felt it their right to force their views on other in the name of a higher power. We see that scenario in play today from the forces of Islam. They are convinced that they alone have the divine link and that all others must submit or be put to the sword. All conservatives of this nation are well aware of the danger from Mecca but so little is known about the evil posed by a neo-Christianity among our own people. They claim to know the truth of morality and insist that we all humble ourselves before that truth, and in the furtherance of their beliefs they have allied themselves with a left wing political movement ... Progressivism.
Above I used the term neo-Christianity; there is another very similar term and it is neo-Conservatism. I find it ironic, almost amusing, in the way that these neo people manage to walk the path of righteousness while picking and choosing which commandments to follow and which are out of date. Perhaps they should generate a neo-Ten Commandments, or maybe eight, or maybe even less.
Since Obama has been in office I have learned so much about the motives of the socialists, Progressives, communists, and Islamists, but I cannot help but feel that this last month has been the most revealing of everything that I have encountered on the internet and that great reveal came in the form of several very long lists of groups funded by the Progressive movement and George Soros, for out of chaos, order emerges. Order has emerged as I began sorting those groups into their varying categories/purposes.
I do not always have time to watch Glenn Beck but today was an exception. One of his guests was John Hagee and quite naturally the topic of religion arose and they were discussing a new bill in San Antonio Texas, designed in the name of 'fairness' that is anything but. That Beck episode led to my writing this essay.
I have been working to sort through the lists that I have and now I shall show you one of the categories ... The religious left. I should like to present but a link to it on one of my sites but as so few follow links here it is:

Catholics In Alliance For The Common Good
The following Groups are funded by Soros...
Catholics for Choice: This nominally Catholic organization supports women's right to abortion-on-demand.
Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good: This political nonprofit group is dedicated to generating support from the Catholic community for leftwing candidates, causes, and legislation.
Sojourners: This evangelical Christian ministry preaches radical leftwing politics. During the 1980s it championed Communist revolution in Central America and chastised U.S. policy-makers for their tendency "to assume the very worst about their Soviet counterparts." More recently, Sojourners has taken up the cause of environmental activism, opposed welfare reform as a "mean-spirited Republican agenda," and mounted a defense of affirmative action.

I have long written about the left's infiltration of EVERY facet of our lives. Each of those green links above are just one more segment of the assault that is being leveled against our freedoms, and the problem from the religious left is far bigger than I have shown above, these are the groups that openly define themselves as religious. In addition to what I have presented there are many self described Christians, affiliated with none of the above who still support the Obama and Progressive cause.
The website that I am building is still a work in progress but if curious, feel free to have a look at the progress that I have made thus far at http://prog-us-timeline1.blogspot.com/
