RESTORING AMERICA

FREEDOM RINGS 1776 is a conservative voice, defending the views of those who still believe in the constitution and opposing any and all who would lead us from our tried and true beliefs. We who still believe in the spirit of 1776 must oppose anyone who would set this nation on a course that will fundamentally transform America.

THE DANGER OF GLOBAL STARVATION IS REAL

I pride myself in being the world's biggest skeptic, but on occasion must deal with an undeniable situation; one that leads to curtailing my innate skepticism as much of the report shown below is factual. True, the reason for its release has to do with the double-think of the report itself, but the fact remains that there is much truth contained therein, just camouflaged by 'the narrative'. The FAO is controlled by the UN and so they are undoubtedly presenting this summary for advancement of their own agenda, and not for the protection of the global population. But many available facts would back up a great deal of this report.

Have we reached 'peak food'? Shortages loom as global production rates slow
The world has entered an era of “peak food” production with an array of staples from corn and rice to wheat and chicken slowing in growth – with potentially disastrous consequences for feeding the planet.
New research finds that the supply of 21 staples, such as eggs, meat, vegetables and soybeans is already beginning to run out of momentum, while the global population continues to soar.
Peak chicken was in 2006, while milk and wheat both peaked in 2004 and rice peaked way back in 1988, according to new research from Yale University, Michigan State University and the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research in Germany.
What makes the report particularly alarming is that so many crucial sources of food have peaked in a relatively short period of history, the researchers said.
“People often talk of substitution. If we run out of one substance we just substitute another. But if multiple resources are running out, we’ve got a problem.

The above information was posted in a group that I frequent, and it led to quite a thread, where there was belief, skepticism for the report, and disbelief. I have to respect all such views as we have, one and all, learned not to trust what the powers that be tell us, and that once more set me off on another quest for the truth. The ultimate question appeared in that thread: 'Is the world truly overpopulated?'. Shall we address that issue?

"Multiply and replenish the Earth.", and we have done so. Sadly there is a Catch 22 to that commandment as all species tend to multiply until they face depopulation by starvation caused by one force or the other; be it flood, drought, plagues of locusts, crop disease, the ravages of war, or millions being starved to death at the whims of an evil regime. It is said, and I believe, that a picture is worth a thousand words and so...

In my years of research of man's inhumanity to man I have viewed many horrid images but none troubles me as does the following. Here we see a child abandoned to the forces of nature by a mother who could not feed her offspring. The little man is about to breathe his last and in the background there sits a vulture, patiently awaiting its next meal, that it might feed its young.

Again, the question: Is the world overpopulated? Below you see an enlargement of the map shown above, It indicates the percentages of starvation in various parts of our world. Even the U.S. shows five percent of our people exists in a state of starvation, with vast parts of Africa and Asia exceeding the thirty five percentile rating.

Part of the problem is due to nature, part due to government, regional, religious, and terrorists forces. Whatever the source of the problem, I am convinced that the world is indeed over populated, and that problem, unless drastically reduced, can only worsen as our population increases. The current population of Earth according to Worldometers is: (Data posted below is a screen shot. Click the link to see the running count)

WORLD POPULATION
7,291,394,437 Current World Population
10,846,529      Births this year
181,486           Births today
4,475,408        Deaths this year
74,883             Deaths today
6,371,121        Net population growth this year
106,603           Net population growth today

Think back to the sixties when the term 'population explosion' first came into popular usage. Fifty plus years ago we realized that the world's population was rapidly outgrowing the world's ability to feed, clothe, and house this ever increasing number of people. Then the birth control pill appeared and the responsible nations of the west began a downward trend in their populations. Not so for those nations dominated by a religious precept against birth control or those nations that still cling to the belief that a large family was indicative of paternal pride.

As our populations declined, all of the third world nations were still on the rise, leading us into the situation of watching them starve or feeding them and providing medical aid. We chose the latter and the problem only worsened.

While most certainly not a fan of Henry Kissinger, I must admit that he faced a problem and devised what he thought would help to alleviate the problem. Increased food aid for those nations that accepted his solution to the problem.

National Security Study Memorandum 200
Thirteen countries are named in the report as particularly problematic with respect to U.S. security interests: India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Turkey, Nigeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil. These countries are projected to create 47 percent of all world population growth.
The report advocates the promotion of education and contraception and other population control measures, stating for instance that "No country has reduced its population growth without resorting to abortion".
It also raises the question of whether the U.S. should consider preferential allocation of surplus food supplies to states that are deemed constructive in use of population control measures."

Kissinger referred to this as population control while his critics referred to this effort as genocide. One thing for certain: He was proven wrong on one point, that being his statement that "No country has reduced its population growth without resorting to abortion." Mexico is managing to do just that. They are shipping their excess population to the U.S. and Muslim nations are shipping theirs to Europe. Both cases are drastically changing the demographics of the world while increasing the likelihood of widespread civil wars. Overall the population explosion is still occurring while the largely Caucasian ethnic groups are in decline, and growing fearful of what the future holds for them.

Archaeologists have long researched the abrupt demise of the Olmec, Toltec, Maya, and Inca civilizations of South America. Lately research on calcium rings in stalagmites in underground caverns seems to indicate that all of these collapses were preceded by extended periods of drought. In spite of our vastly improved technology we are still not immune from such problems and in addition to the threats from nature, our political bodies are well known for creating famine to establish the status quo they seek.

One such episode was the Holodomor, an intentional starvation of seven million people in the Ukraine by Joseph Stalin. See 'Americans Want Communism Part Two' in Suggested Reading Below. There is a tradition in the Ukraine that takes place every year on the 23rd of November when 30,000 candles are lit, commemorating the death toll of the same number of people who died of starvation each and every day due to a communist administered 'famine'.

Today our Globalist agenda, via the EPA, is taking control of our water ways, even our streams and ponds for purposes of their own, and a government implemented drought is being imposed on the San Joaquin Valley in California.

Natural Resources House. gov
The Man-Made California Drought
In May 2007, a Federal District Court Judge ruled that increased amounts of water had to be re-allocated towards protecting the Delta smelt – a three-inch fish on the Endangered Species List.
Because of this ruling, in 2009 and 2010 more than 300 billion gallons (or 1 million acre-feet) of water were diverted away from farmers in the Central Valley and into the San Francisco Bay – eventually going out into the Pacific Ocean.

I am always the skeptic when reading reports from international groups, governments and the UN on anything. The facts and figures are often reliable but the interpretation of cause and probable effects I fear are promoted by their respective agendas.

FAO Director-General calls for global action to address food insecurity in conflict areas
Hunger kills far more people than war or terrorism, the FAO chief noted during his speech. For example, between 2004 and 2009, an estimated 55,000 people a year lost their lives as a direct result of conflict or terrorism, while in Somalia alone, between 2010 and 2012 over 250,000 died due to famine caused by severe drought, he said.

I do not question the figures above but when the powers that be advocate that we provide food for these people, food that will be intercepted by terrorists, I must remain the eternal skeptic. Another such group makes a very broad statement...

World Food Programme
HUNGER
There is enough food in the world today for everyone to have the nourishment necessary for a healthy and productive life.

That broad statement is very broad, ignoring the reality that one third of the food the world produces is wasted.

United Nations Environment Programme ... 2013
FOOD WASTE FACTS
Roughly one third of the food produced in the world for human consumption every year — approximately 1.3 billion tonnes — gets lost or wasted.
Every year, consumers in rich countries waste almost as much food (222 million tonnes) as the entire net food production of sub-Saharan Africa (230 million tonnes). The amount of food lost or wasted every year is equivalent to more than half of the world's annual cereals crop (2.3 billion tonnes in 2009/2010).

I have no reason to challenge these figures but do question their analysis as they then proceed to attack the first world nations and get into the global warming agenda as a result of this waste. Part of that agenda set us onto a very dangerous course...Renewable energy.

Back when the ethanol craze was introduced, farmers were induced to produce a great deal of low quality corn on perfectly good land to make ethanol that would foul our automobile's gas lines. Ethanol required more energy to produce than it would generate when consumed. Energy gain...Negative. Problems produced...Many. This insanity quite naturally led to increasing the price of a decreasing supply of corn. As that price rose we, the consumers, got a little 'boost' as the price of meat dropped.

That price drop occurred due to the higher price of grain making it impossible for farmers and ranchers to feed their huge herds of livestock and still make a profit with existing meat prices of those days. They opted to thin their herds giving the public a temporary price reduction as those herds were culled. Now the culling is over, and meat prices are going through the roof as the cost of feeding them is still increasing.

I have far more faith in scientists than any government entity...

Food shortages could be most critical world issue by mid-century
He said the world population will increase 30 percent to 9 billion people by mid-century. That would call for a 70 percent increase in food to meet demand.
"But resource limitations will constrain global food systems," Davies added. "The increases currently projected for crop production from biotechnology, genetics, agronomics and horticulture will not be sufficient to meet food demand." Davies said the ability to discover ways to keep pace with food demand have been curtailed by cutbacks in spending on research.

Answers! We all want answers to the problems that lie before us but there are no perfect answers, and the quest for the best answers are clouded by the agendas of various power groups. Globalism, the UN, the EU, the spread of Islam and multiculturalism, Global Warming, Socialism, anti-capitalism, communism, and political correctness.

The stumbling blocks are many in the quest for the truth and when dealing with the age old reality of 'All species tend to multiply until their numbers are reduced by starvation', those stumbling blocks will greatly increase the death toll when that ultimate stage is finally reached.

Wealth...Mention the word and most people think of a bank account, business ownership, gold, silver, a yacht and such. True wealth is air, water, land on which to live and produce food and the necessities of life. After that, all else falls into place. Today we are being duped and the wealth of nations destroyed in the name of global warming, the biggest scam the human race has ever encountered.

Al Gore Wants to Spend $90 Trillion to Create World Without Cars
Former Vice President Al Gore and Mexican President Felipe Calderon proposed a $90 trillion plan to redesign every city on earth so that motor vehicles would become obsolete due to more dense populations.
And...
By 2030, around 60 percent of the global population will live in urban areas. Cities and urban areas will house nearly all of the world’s net population growth over the next two decades. 1.4 million people are being added to urban areas each week, roughly the population of Stockholm [Sweden].
Calderon said these new, redesigned cities would not include the integration of automobiles, but rather more mass transit.
“We cannot have these cities with low density, designed for the use of cars,” he said. “We recommend those cities should have more density and more mass transportation.”

Of course both of these men would live far from the madding crowds with air strips for their private jets next to their private mansions. And they will sit in those mansions working out new methods for us to have less and less. A day dream of course, as the real plan is to continue with multiculturalism, leading to world wide civil wars. This is the true agenda designed to drastically reduce the population of the planet Earth.

But back to real wealth and the danger faced by all mankind. Water is the one of the keys to the survival of the human race. Population control is another. Caucasians adopted a voluntary means of birth control and are now being taxed into oblivion supporting those will will not do the same. There are no easy 'painless' answers but I put this before you...Those who behave irresponsibly should pay for the error of their ways. We should not suffer that they might overwhelm us with sheer numbers.

As for water...Millions drink polluted water and many of them die as a result. We are running short on water world wide, endangering our ability to grow an adequate amount of food, and yet there is quite enough water for all, if properly utilized. I have long studied the dangers of over population, and the related shortage of food and water. Four years ago I wrote a very brief essay that outlined the solution to our water shortage. (A brief history subsequent to its publication): A friend in England sent my essay to a friend of his in Australia. His friend replied that China was already implementing part of my plan to irrigate northern China, but failing to utilize the capture of flood waters and the creation of new lakes that I called for.

It will never be enacted of course due to the powers that be and their agendas, but I will guarantee you this: The money being wasted on Global Warming, if spent on this plan, would turn this nation and a great deal of the world into a 21st century Eden. As stated, the essay is brief and listed just below.
