It has often been said that power corrupts! I happen to disagree. It is the quest for power that corrupts, for by the time one achieves the power that he or she so desperately craves, any humanity they may have once possessed have been already been abandoned. All concern for his fellow was man left in the dust alongside a trail of shattered victims.
Nicolai Lenin affectionately referred to those victims as "Useful Idiots." They were plentiful in Russia. They are plentiful in America. There is never a shortage in any culture. I cannot help but wander just how many of these useful idiots Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have crushed in their upward climb. Surely there were many who had to be sacrificed before this dangerous duet rose to those dizzying heights from which they look down on Americans and see only votes?
And what about Barrack Obama? Young, powerful, ruthless, incompetent. Surely there must be a lavish line of of sacrificial lambs for one such as he. Ignore the political figures that he has crushed, lied about, and ruined. Don't even consider them for they were playing the same power struggle game, but not as well as he. Look at those poor "useful idiots" we call the youth of America that he mislead. His "Hope and Change" was a Utopian dream to them. The young with their energy and idealism always hope to change the world. They can indeed change the world, but that change is often for the worst if they stumble into the grasp of a ruthless leader.
The young are naturally restless and rebellious. They swooned in awe as he stood god-like before his backdrop of rented Greek columns, and they chanted "Yes We Can!" One and all bowed unselfishly before his ambition and did the volunteer work that put him into power. It is in their nature to want exactly what he promised, and by the millions they lined up to serve him. Now they are lining up for something not quite as Utopian as the things he promised...Unemployment.
Now, what is to become of them? The idealistic, foolish, young people who should now be going into the business world earning their way, whether with a blue collar or white, can't find work of any kind. His Marxist dreams have severely damaged the economy of the United States, and his every decision makes matters even worse. Jimmy Carter must love our current situation. He is no longer the poster child for failed Presidents.
Barrack Obama is not the first to promise the stars and deliver bitter dregs. President Johnson's "Great Society" was the worst thing to happen to the black community since the end of slavery. His ever increasing welfare state did so much harm to them that many were pushed back into virtual slavery, but instead of picking cotton they are now only required to vote Democratic to survive, and survive is all they did. No one prospers on welfare and food stamps. When you lose dignity, you lose ambition, and when those qualities are gone, so is the future.
In the military I served with many black men and they were some of America's finest. The problem with so many black Americans is that they don't know their own worth. They have been pushed into a corner and given a victim mentality, and they deserve far more. I wish that more African-Americans would read their own history. Free blacks fought gallantly alongside white men in the Revolutionary War. They served with honor during the civil war and continued to serve as patriotic Americans until Democrat/Progressive President Wilson began segregation.
From that point forward they were indeed oppressed, gradually making headway after WWll and finally gaining equal rights under the leadership of a famous Republican...Doctor Martin Luther King. The loss of this great man is reflected in the sad quality of those who "lead" today. He led with hope, conviction and honor. Men like Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakhan, and Jeremiah Wright lead with hatred and animosity for the white man, and that is not leadership. That is hate mongering.
At the end of this post is a link to Doctor King's "I Have A Dream!" speech. Read it, and ask yourself what a man such as he would say about any of the men that I mentioned above. Then ask what he would think of Barrack Hussein Obama. Obama told us to get out of the way, go sit down and shut up. I would love to see him say that to Martin Luther King. He didn't shut up for anyone, and he would lead a ten million person march to the White House. Five million of them would be white.
Obama achieved office with the aid of the Blacks of this nation, the Whites, the Latinos and the young of all colors, and he promised to be a President of all of the people. He has failed miserably! He is not a President at all. His campaign was never about the people of this nation. Barrack Obama is a narcissist and it is always about him.
Now he has over two years to further cripple those who helped him gain power. Break their will, make them dependant, and all that is required of them is just to vote in 2012. That is also all that is required of those millions of illegal aliens he hopes to bring into the voting booths with "Amnesty." He will tax America into bankruptcy to provide health care, welfare, special education and food stamps for the votes of yet more of those "Useful Idiots" he is enticing across the border.
The irony of it all is that there are so many of these victims and they range from the illegal immigrants all the way to the White House. Barrack Obama is an excellent speaker if his teleprompter is working, but look at some of the absolutely stupid blunders he makes and realize this...He is not the brightest kid on the block

He too is another of the useful idiots, and someone is pulling his strings. You do not have to look far to see who. Just follow the money trail. Unions spent untraceable millions of dollars putting him into office. Naturally they wanted repayment with interest and got it, at the expense of the American taxpayer. Corporations like General Electric contributed enormous amounts to his campaign and their reward is contracts. Green contracts! Again the taxpayer lays his head on the chop block for a sociopathic leader who advocates abandoning our technology and replacing it with a long line of unproductive green schemes.
The biggest and most powerful of those who invested in the Useful Idiot In Chief is George Soros. There is the ultimate power behind the throne. He is the wannabe God who pulls all strings. To one such as he all things are possible. He also contributed vast sums to the McCain campaign. To him it mattered not who moved into the White House, Soros would be President. So the American public was allowed a choice of Progressive John McCain or Marxist Barrack Obama. To George Soros it was irrelevant who was elected, he would win and we would lose.
For the record...I did not vote for either.
On more than one occasion I have been referred to as an idealistic fool and I must plead guilty as charged. I am always the idealist and frequently foolish but none has ever called me disloyal, Can Barrack Hussein Obama say that? Can Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid? Can John McCain? Now there is a touchy one, because that man is a tried, tested, and proven hero, but he too is an idealistic fool and it was his idealism that gave birth to the McCain/Feingold bill.
That bill contributed a great deal to his defeat in the Presidential elections. Before the elections there were agreements made about how the campaigns were to be financed. Naturally Barrack Obama broke the agreement.
Russ Feingold reaching across the isle for a co-sponsor for his bill to exclude "Dirty" money like Tobacco and Big Oil from election funding, found the perfect sucker in the idealistic Mister McCain. This is a bill that, like Pearl Harbor, will live in infamy. This was the magic key that eliminated many of the GOP campaign donations and ushered in George Soros with no limits on his funding of the Progressive Party.
I am beginning to think it is time to retire the obsolete term "Democratic Party" for it has been laid to rest. Just ask Hillary, she likes to think of herself as a Progressive, and Obama has certainly proven he is no Democrat. His early affiliations was with a group who chose to call themselves The NEW PARTY. It was just an old party with some new tricks. More about that in my blog post link at the end of this article.
To any reader who is unfamiliar with the McCain-Feingold bill: If you watched the State Of The Union Address it was brought up by Obama in his criticism of the Supreme Court. They had struck down parts of the bill as violating the First Amendment. Feingold was not at all interested in the Constitution or the First Amendment when writing the bill, He just wanted results that would aid in his growing Progressivism.
John McCain must surely have liked the sound of McCain-Feingold better than Feingold-McCain. Think about that for a moment. The bill was conceived by Russ Feingold. His name should have been first on the bill. Or like they do it in some movies, the names appear in alphabetical order. That was rejected. McCain-Feingold was an ego trip for a fine man who should retire before he does anymore damage.
After Nikolai Lenin seized control of Russia the "Useful Idiots" who helped him gain power were no longer so useful and one after another they began disappearing. That would have happened here if Obama managed to seize power as planned bye he with some met unexpected opposition: The American people's love of freedom, and it took the form of the Tea Party. Without this grass roots movement we would already be living under a red flag, but they, the Supreme Court and a handful of dedicated statesmen and women bought us the time to get this far.
Obama and his minions will be finding over the next two years that those useful idiots were really not idiots at all. Many of them were honest hard working people who believed his lies, and the lies that his progressive media told them. It is they, more than we conservatives, who will demand a day of reckoning. You see,it is awfully embarrassing to be taken in by a huckster such as the one who now sits god-like in the Oval Office. We were outnumbered but they were taken in, and when the time comes, they too will be there with us, demanding that justice be served.
